The staff was absolutely incredible. It was NYE and they managed to get us into their party that was completely booked out. I upgraded to the larger king luxury suite for the bathtub. The room was huge, but really empty. Felt a little sterile and cold. The electronics (lighting, shades and shower lights) were absolutely awesome. A tech person's dream. The bar is an awesome time. Our favorite place in the city. Location is amazing one block from the fashion mall. The staff made the experience special though. Very good team.

The bar George continues to be the main reason why we stay at this hotel. Its a short stumble to your hotel room. Otherwise, the staff is usually great. This time, we brought our service dog and were questioned on our way to dinner about our service animal after we already provided all documentation to the check in receptionist. It just felt uncomfortable this time overall. Also, the room was a shoe box. It was a long narrow corridor into an open area with a bed. Not as comfortable as the previous rooms we've stayed in.

The location was perfect. The building was stunning and the facilities excellent. The gym was well appointed and we used it twice during our stay. We were able to park under the building in a secure car park. We used the restaurant for dinner on one occasion and it was very good with a varied menu. The Bar George was buzzing and inviting. Overall we had an excellent stay, the staff were polite and helpful and we would have no hesitation in recommending the hotel highly.

The lobby bar was perfect for a cocktail before our dinner reservation dinner and a nightcap after the show at the Belle Centre. It has a great old-school feel with wooden panels but a modern vibe with a live DJ. The unexpected highlight was the room's bathroom, particularly the shower and fancy toilet features! They have done a great job blending the old and new here!

The hotel is in an excellent location with easy access to unlimited shopping and food and a quick taxi ride to old Montreal.
